About the Project

The SOYESTERDAY collection reflects my obsession for geometric shapes and patterns. Inspired by the Bauhaus era and Jacques Tati’s movie Mon Oncle (1958), the low easy chair has a tubular metal structure that supports a wide seat and a cozy backrest pillow. Smooth and simple curves balance the striking colors used for the custom upholstery.   The textile printed patterns embody the pop spirit of Elio Petri’s set for the movie The 10th Victim (1965). The pieces were exhibited in the central exhibition of Romanian Design Week 2014
